weekday meal plan march 18
Open this meal plan with links here.
Every weekend I order my groceries, yes I get them delivered, based on a carefully crafted meal plan. I look for recipes that are:
family-friendly - 3 kids with a range of likes of dislikes
fresh in-season foods - as much as possible
balanced
easy to make
I break down my meal plans into breakfast prep, snack prep, and lunch prep, then, the 5 week days. I find that I only really need 5 recipes for dinner because of sports, church, or other dinner plans. I don’t tie myself down to a day, I can move the recipes around if I want!
When you open the document, you can get links to the recipes I use and love. My goal is always to find meals that the whole family will enjoy, so I hope you can strive for that too, with the recipes I have provided.
My meal prep essentials:
Food Prep Containers - Great for on the go, pool and easy lunch or snack storage.
Nordicware pans - Best baking sheets.
Food processor - I have used this weekly since 2012. What a good investment!
Fruit containers - The genius here is the strainer.
Wide mouth jars - use for celery, cucumbers, and herbs with water at bottom to keep them fresh!
I don’t know if this will be an every week thing, but I had the time to share my work this week, so I hope you enjoy! Please leave a comment if you try or enjoy it.
xoxo
