family friendly protein balls
Looking for a sweet snack that the whole family will adore? We have completely replaced store bought granola bars with this MUCH BETTER AND TASTIER alternative. I prep these on Sunday nights and we enjoy them all week! What a great snack to just pick out of the fridge and feel guilt free for you and the kids!
These treats not only satisfy your sweet cravings but also provide a healthy dose of protein, making them perfect for busy days or post-workout refueling.
Ingredients:
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (only kind we use if not homemade.)
1 scoop protein powder (your favorite flavor, I use this one for the added greens.)
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1/4 cup honey
Sprinkle of sea salt
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, creamy peanut butter, protein powder, chocolate chips, honey, and a sprinkle of salt.
2. Stir until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed, forming a sticky dough-like consistency.
3. Using your hands, or my favorite portion scooper, scoop out portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls.
4. Place in a glass dish, or any flat baking dish with sealed lid, we use this, and I WANT THIS ONE, and save them in fridge.
5. Donβt forget to place them on a low shelf, maybe in plastic, if you want your kids to grab and get one for snacks.
These Family-Friendly Indulgent Protein-Packed snacks are not only delicious but also a great way to sneak in some extra protein for your loved ones. Whether enjoyed as an after-school snack, a quick energy boost, or a guilt-free dessert, these treats are sure to be a hit with everyone in the family.
