Candle Care

  • Trim wick to 1/4” before each burn
  • Allow wax to melt to the edges on the first burn to prevent tunneling
  • Burn 3–4 hours at a time for best results
  • Keep away from drafts, children, and pets
  • Discontinue use when 1/2” of wax remains

Our candles are hand-poured in small batches using American-made materials—from the vessels to the wax and wicks. Each scent is crafted with non-toxic, phthalate-free fragrance oils for a clean and safe burn you can feel good about.

what sets us apart

We found soy wax burned the cleanest, and was the most eco-friendly as a sustainable, renewable resource. Then we found cotton wicks that burned without toxins or additives. Finally we searched the whole nation for the cleanest fragrances, that are pthalate-fee, paraben-free, and contain none of the California Prop 65 “Dirty” ingredients. Together these ingredients make, what we think, is the cleanest, biggest, strongest, most affordable candle. Watch us grow as we use what we have learned to more home products!

Why not essential oils?

Essential oils are a great tool for wholistic health and amazing to treat ailments for family members in your home. However, the sole use of essential oils in candles makes a bland, weak scent blend and can be hazardous as highly concentrated essential oils are volatilly flammable. We add CLEAN fragrance oils to our essential oil blends to safely intensify the aroma of each product.

Every single fragrance oil we offer is formulated without phthalates and made without ingredients found on California’s Proposition 65 list.

But fragrances with the Clean Scents™ designation go one step further by also avoiding these 5 main hazard groups:

  • NO CARCINOGENS

    These are materials known or thought to cause cancer.

  • NO MUTAGENS

    Materials that change the DNA of a cell, harming the cell and causing diseases like cancer.

  • NO REPRODUCTIVE TOXINS

    Toxins that adversely affect reproductive organs and increase the risk of birth defects.

  • NO ORGAN TOXINS

    These are toxins that can cause adverse effects or disease within specific bodily organs.

  • NO ACUTE TOXINS

    Toxins that can cause adverse effects from a single exposure. Generally, this would be accidental exposure like spillage or ingestion.
